This month’s theme features gratitude - from harvest festivals around the world to small, everyday acts of kindness that connect us across cultures. November is Puerto Rican Heritage Month Teaching students about Puerto Rico helps them understand the rich diversity of cultures that make up the United States and the wider Caribbean region. As a U.S. territory with a unique history, language, and blend of traditions, Puerto Rico offers an opportunity for students to explore how geography, culture, and identity are interconnected.
