March 21 World Poetry Day
Inspire students to write poetry with an introduction to 7 different forms and traditions around the world.
Each type of poetry includes a brief introduction, an original Globe Trottin' Kids example poem, a warm-up activity, a pre-writing planner, and final copy writing/illustrating choices. Take a peek!
March 22 - April 21 Ramadan
Develop awareness of Ramadan through interesting facts, engaging books, fun activities, and a super cute video of kids explaining the meaning and traditions of the holy month.
Ask students to compare the traditions of this holiday with one they celebrate.
